Matchmaking Event

The following is information on the Matchmaking Event that will take place at the Expo on 23 October (Thursday) from 1:30 – 4:45.
1. The Matchmaking Event is available only to Expo Exhibitors and Sponsors.
2. Table 1 below provides a brief description on the agency or organization participating in this event.
3. The description block also includes a link to the organization’s web-site.
4. Please review the organization description and visit the web-site for additional purchasing related info.
5. Table 2 below lists the available agency times.
6. Review Table 2 and note the participating organization and the four (4) corresponding times you wish to meet. See FAQ’s below for more information on your selections.
7. The person listed as the primary point of contact when you registered will be contacted by an Expo representative regarding your selections by no later than 17 October 2008.

Matchmaking Event FAQ’s

1. What is the process for selecting the agencies I wish to meet with at the Matchmaking Event?
The person listed as the primary point of contact (POC) when you registered will be contacted by an Expo representative regarding your selections by no later than 17 October 2008. If someone else is to make the selections, it is important that you provide the information to the POC.
 
2. Can I select more than four (4) organizations to meet with?
Yes, but this must be done when you pick up your registration package at the Expo. We will have a list of times which were not scheduled. You will be able to schedule at least two (2) additional times on a first come-first serve basis. You will be able to repeat this process at 1:30 when the Matchmaking Event begins on the 23rd. You will be able to select as many remaining times from those that remain.
 
3. Can I call-in or e-mail my selections?
Yes, provided you have first been contacted by an Expo representative.
 
4. How will the Matchmaking be managed on the day of the event?
The Matchmaking Event begins at 1:30 on the 23rd of October, immediately after lunch. A simple announcement will be made approximately every 12 minutes to alert attendees and agency representatives of the time so they may complete their meetings. You should note your appointment times and be at the designated hall one or two minutes before your scheduled time.
